Loved the video. Do you have to use a special type of crystal jewel in the middle of the flower?

You make putting on the vines look like they are as easy as writing with a pen. Beautiful bead.

It appears to be mica powder or pixie dust - it’s a superfine powder, not a liquid.

Hi, I really enjoyed the demo. What the liquid you dipped the bead in before encasing the core?

i really enjoyed the video work. i haven’t been in a studio for a while and i just yearn to be there! might i make the suggestion that the next time you make a video like this, that you film with a pair of the special glasses over the lens. then the bead has more detail when in the flame. just an idea!

the metal rod, called a mandrel, usually has a layer of “slip” on it that when the bead has cooled, it is able to be slide off.

It’s a small cubic zirconia. It doesn’t have to be covered, the glass holds it tight.

What did you use for a jem? Does it ever fall out or do you cover it with something?
    Love your video, thanks!
